1. ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT
1.1 IP addresses, subnets, routes and DNS-related features provided with a service remain under the control of Hostly or the relevant network owner and are licensed for use only during the active service term.
1.2 No purchase of a hosting service transfers ownership of addresses, autonomous system numbers, routing rights, or network equipment.
1.3 Hostly may renumber or replace addresses for justified routing, security, abuse, upstream or infrastructure needs, with notice when feasible.
2. NETWORK OPERATIONS
2.1 Customers must not spoof source addresses, announce unauthorized routes, originate BGP sessions, operate unauthorized tunnels, or interfere with network controls.
2.2 Hostly may filter outbound or inbound ports and protocols, apply egress controls, rate limits, DDoS mitigation, or null-routes where needed for security, stability, abuse compliance or upstream contractual duties.
2.3 Bandwidth ports described as 1 Gbps, 10 Gbps or other maximum link rates are interface speeds, not unconditional minimum throughput or guaranteed internet performance unless explicitly stated in an order.
3. IP REPUTATION AND ABUSE
3.1 Customers must avoid spam, scanning, open relays, impersonation and use that damages address reputation. Hostly may investigate provider or blacklist reports.
3.2 Reverse DNS, geolocation corrections, IP swaps and additional address assignments may be unavailable or subject to additional conditions and verification.
4. BYOIP AND SPECIAL ROUTING
4.1 Bringing an external prefix, announcing a customer's ASN, special BGP arrangements, private cross-connects or customized routing requires prior written authorization and any technically necessary ROA, IRR and upstream approvals.
4.2 Such arrangements are separate from standard hosting and do not carry guaranteed global reachability, acceptance by every upstream, or automatic transferability between facilities.
